Boreal develops laser-based gas detection solutions and operates in a competitive global industry. Boreal hired g[squared] to create a brand that would reflect its cutting-edge technology and make its products and services stand out in an international market.
Boreal’s current brand, developed by g[squared], is inspired by the aurora borealis, or northern lights. The colour palette ties into the spectrum of colour associated with this natural phenomenon, as well as evoking lights and lasers. The logo features a light-wave accent over a solid modern font. We also developed a tagline for Boreal that speaks to the precision and remote capabilities of its service: “Remote precision. Sure decision.” Overall, the new brand positions Boreal as a company that is serious about competing and winning on the global stage.
